We are thrilled to announce that Jaime Leiderman, a Reading Specialist at Daniel Boone Area Intermediate Center, has been nominated for the prestigious 2024 Janet L. Hoopes Award! This award represents statewide recognition for those making an outstanding impact on the lives of individuals with dyslexia and supporting IDA-PA's mission of helping everyone reach their full potential.

For those who may not know, the IDA-PA (Pennsylvania Branch of the International Dyslexia Association) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with dyslexia. They provide resources, support, and advocacy to help those with dyslexia thrive. The IDA-PA also raises awareness, offers educational programs, and supports research in the field, benefiting educators, families, and individuals alike.

Being nominated for the Janet L. Hoopes Award is a tremendous honor, and we are so proud of Jaime for this incredible achievement. The recipient of the award will be announced in early November, with the presentation set for November 16th, 2024, at the annual IDA-PA membership meeting at Center School.

Thank you, Jaime, for your dedication to the dyslexia community. We are honored to be part of your remarkable journey!
