Over the course of the last 7 years, we have grown our academic partnership with Reading Area Community College. In doing so we have been able to expand dual enrollment opportunities for our students and families in the Daniel Boone Area School District. This year I am proud to say that we have the most dual enrollment offerings to date for a single school district. This opportunity not only affords students the ability to earn college credit, but the credits are also at a reduced tuition rate of 99$ a credit. The following link is for the complete listing of 24/25 dual enrollment course offerings.

For detailed instructions on how to enroll please visit www.racc.edu/DE.

Dual Enrollment Course Registrations are due by September 30,2024,  please plan accordingly.

All students must complete a Dual Enrollment Application and Course Registration. This is ONE step, online, and must be completed every year. Access the DE application – www.racc.edu/de

In addition, there is some great news – our school is eligible for the Dual Enrollment scholarship for fall 2024. This scholarship is through the Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) Program. Businesses continue to be very generous to support our high school students. There is a financial eligibility requirement for this scholarship. The due date is September 30, 2024.There is a Dual Enrollment Student Summer scholarship and an Early Admissions scholarship for the academic year 2024-2025. They are on RACC’s website.

The DE Student Summer Scholarship is for students that register for DE this school year – they are eligible to take a summer course(s) at the DE rate!  www.racc.edu/DE. There is nothing the student needs to do now to apply for this (other than register for DE). The scholarship application will be when they enroll for summer semester.

The EA Scholarship is for students taking a class with RACC online or on campus. This is not taking a class in their high school. This scholarship is $50 per credit.  Admissions: Early Admission for High School Students | RACC
