Safe Berks, formerly Berks Women in Crisis, provides a safe haven and ongoing support system for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.  Safe Berks' services are available to all victims and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Trained advocates answer English and Spanish hotline 24 hours a day, seven days a week. They offer emergency shelter, counseling, legal support and advocacy, and in some cases, legal representation. Safe Berks community educators offer programs to raise awareness and to prevent domestic and sexual violence.
