📢 Exciting Announcement! 📚 We are thrilled to welcome Mr. Shane Cross as our new Director of Curriculum and Instruction at the Daniel Boone Area School District! 🎉 With over 18 years in public education, Mr. Cross has a wealth of experience as a teacher, technology integration specialist, and administrator. Most recently, he served as the Director of Curriculum and Instruction at Southern Lehigh School District, where he focused on enhancing research-based, standards-aligned curriculum and instruction. Mr. Cross holds a Bachelor’s in Computers and Information Systems from King’s College, a Certificate in Elementary Education from East Stroudsburg University, and a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Arcadia University. He is currently completing the Superintendent Certificate Program at Gwynedd Mercy University, demonstrating his commitment to educational excellence. Join us in welcoming Mr. Cross to our community! 🎶✨ On Friday, September 27th, the DBAHS Marching Band welcomed middle school musicians from grades 5-8 for an unforgettable evening! 🌧️ Although Mother Nature had other ideas and brought the rain, the spirit of music prevailed! 🎺🎷 Instead of marching outside, our talented musicians gathered in the high school auditorium and put on a fantastic mini-concert for family and friends. With an impressive +2 over par after 27 holes at Blackwood Golf Course, Chase qualified for Districts alongside teammate Nick Fritz. Chase is the reigning 2023 PIAA District III 3A Boys Champion - join us in wishing them luck in the upcoming District competition! Our golf team also finished 3rd overall in the county championships!
