Hello Blazer Families,  Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year. I wanted to share some upcoming important dates to mark the calendars. More details on each event will be sent separately as we approach the time of the event.  Important dates: Class of 2028 Orientation on August 8, 2024, from 9am-11pm  Student schedules will be released August 8, 2024, at 8am  As we countdown the days until our first day of school on August 26, we will continue to send out information. Next, week communication regarding the parent back to school process on Infinite Campus will be sent out. Ensuring your information is up to date and accurate assists us with the ability to communicate effectively with our parents and community. 🌟 Meet Gwen Harding, an exceptional Girl Scout Cadette from Douglassville! 🌟 Gwen recently achieved the prestigious Girl Scout Silver Award by leading a remarkable community project at St Gabriel's Church. 🌧️ She and her team designed and installed a rain barrel to conserve water, showing incredible environmental stewardship. But Gwen didn't stop there! 🌿 She also restored the Garden of Hope, a previous Silver Award project, and even planned a 'Wonders of Water Journey' to educate younger scouts about global water issues. 💧 What's more inspiring? DBAHS Student Recognition: Myah Derer Myah Derer has earned the President’s Volunteer Service Award at the Gold Level with over 250 hours of service to her community in one year. This award honors individuals whose service positively impacts communities in every corner of the nation and inspires those around them to take action, too. Myah’s service hours are from volunteering with Birdsboro-Union Fire Company, Girls Scouts, by mentoring a younger troop, volunteering with the American Legion, and other various things like shelving books at the library, and participating in Beautify Birdsboro.
