🎉 Congratulations to DBAHS senior Kamryn Burmester on successfully completing her internship with Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center! 🏥💙 Kamryn interned in the Surgical Services Outpatient Interventional Unit, where she gained valuable hands-on experience—transporting patients, prepping rooms, and creating a calm, comforting environment for those in care. She also had the opportunity to observe a variety of medical procedures, including infusions, endoscopies, lab draws, lung biopsies, and even a C-section! 👏 We're so proud of Kamryn and wish her all the best as she pursues her dream of becoming a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). 🌟 We’re incredibly #BooneProud to celebrate Tyler Ferenz, who was named a finalist in the Science/Environment category for the 2025 Berks’ Best Awards! 🧪🌍 This prestigious event honors top seniors across Berks County. 🏀 #ThrowbackThursday to a Blazer legend in the making! 🔙💙 We came across these photos of professional basketball player Wayne Ellington in our 2003 yearbook, taken during his freshman year at Daniel Boone! 🎾 Huge congratulations to Chase Gerloff, our District III 3A Champion! 🏆 Representing Daniel Boone, Chase entered the PIAA District III Class 3A Boys Tennis Singles Tournament as the player to beat—and he absolutely delivered. The sophomore rolled through four straight-set matches, capping off the two-day tourney on May 3rd with a dominant 6-1, 6-1 win over Ephrata’s Zach Keiper in the championship. 💪 Chase’s path to the title included: ✅ 6-1, 6-0 wins in the first two rounds ✅ A 6-0, 6-0 shutout in the semifinals over Dylan Bonds of Twin Valley ✅ Dropping just 3 games the entire tournament! 🔥 Way to go, Chase! #DistrictChampion #TennisStar #BooneProud 💙🎾
