DBASD Commencement Postponed: Thursday, June 6th Unfortunately, with a comprehensive review of the impending predicted weather conditions. In an abundance of caution, we will be delaying the Commencement ceremony for the Class of 2024 until Thursday June 6, at 7pm. Seniors will report to auditorium through door 1 at 6:15pm, gates to the stadium will open at 6:30pm.

Daniel Boone Football Youth Camp 2024 The Daniel Boone Football Program will be holding its annual youth camp from Monday, July 22- Thursday, July 25 from 9 AM- 12 PM. Price is $70.00 per camper with a family cap of $125.00. Please reach out to Coach Okuniewski with any questions. Good Afternoon On Wednesday, June 5th, Daniel Boone Area Middle School will be holding the Eighth Grade Recognition - all students will be recognized at this Ceremony. Doors will open at 8:00 a.m. and the Ceremony will begin at 8:30 a.m. We ask that guests be limited to two per student, as seating is limited in the Auditorium. The event will also be streamed live. ***At the conclusion of the ceremony parents may sign their children out early from school. Early dismissal forms requiring parent signature will be located in the lobby

Good Morning, I am writing to make you aware of an incident that occurred at the Middle School this morning. While in the main office, a student inserted a metal object into an outlet causing the outlet to malfunction. There was smoke but no fire and alarms were never triggered. The Fire Department and Amity Police responded immediately to assess and it was determined to be contained and there was no need to evacuate the building. Guardians of the student involved were notified and proper care was administered.

Good Morning, I am writing to inform you that we performed a Lockdown DRILL at Daniel Boone Area Middle School today at 9:07 AM. In conjunction with District Security and the Amity Township Police Department, our students, teachers, and staff did a great job practicing the lockdown procedures . DBAMS Music Department: 8th Grade in the Parks On Friday, May 3rd, the 8th Grade Band and Chorus traveled to Hershey, PA to participate in the Music in the Parks Adjudication Festival. Both ensembles delivered their best performances of the year to receive strong feedback, "Excellent" ratings, and strong scores from the festival evaluators. 8th Grader, Amelia Shelgren, was also named as Outstanding Vocalist for her solo in the chorus performance. Following the competition, the students enjoyed beautiful weather while exploring Hersheypark during the afternoon hours before traveling back home!
