📘 Blazer Legacy Spotlight: Celebrating Kellei Graul 🌟 After 31 incredible years as a 5th grade teacher, Kellei Graul is closing her classroom door — but her impact at Daniel Boone will live on for generations. A Boone graduate herself, Kellei returned to the district that shaped her to give back in the most meaningful way: by educating and inspiring young Blazers. 💙🤍 From Field Day fun to the unforgettable 5th grade vs. teachers volleyball games and heartfelt Recognition Ceremonies, Kellei cherished the events that brought students and staff together as one strong school community. “Working here has continued to make me Blazer Proud. I’m proud to be a Blazer!” In her classroom, students were encouraged to laugh, learn, and imagine — guided by her classroom pledge: 👉 “Laughing and Learning.” 👉 “Filling our Files” with facts and knowledge. 👉 “Use your Imagination” all the time! As she retires, Kellei hopes her legacy is one of kindness, care, and joy — for her students and her colleagues. 🎉 As we head into the final days of the school year, retiree celebrations are in full swing here at Daniel Boone! Today, the first grade team at the Primary Center honored Anita Brady and Pat Smith for their incredible dedication and service to our students. Meanwhile, the entire middle school came together to celebrate Gary Ingham, SSC custodian and a beloved part of the building since it opened its doors in 2005. These individuals have made a lasting impact on our schools, our students, and our community — and we are so grateful for the time, care, and heart they’ve given over the years. 💙 More heartfelt celebrations are still to come as we say farewell and thank you to all of this year’s retirees. 🎓✨ 8th Grade Recognition Ceremony ✨🎓 We’re excited to celebrate the achievements of our 8th grade class on Friday, June 6th at 8:15 AM in the Middle School Auditorium! 🎉 Families are welcome to attend and cheer on their students. Due to limited seating, we kindly ask that attendance be limited to two (2) guests per student. 📺 Can’t make it in person? The event will be streamed live so everyone can join in the celebration! Watch for a post and an email next week with the livestream link. 📝 Following the ceremony, parents may sign their child out early. Early dismissal forms will be available in the lobby and require a parent signature. We look forward to honoring our students and all they’ve accomplished! #BooneProud 💙

🏀 #ThrowbackThursday to a Blazer legend in the making! 🔙💙 We came across these photos of professional basketball player Wayne Ellington in our 2003 yearbook, taken during his freshman year at Daniel Boone! Wayne went on to play at UNC, win an NCAA championship, and enjoy a successful NBA career with teams like the Los Angeles Lakers and the New York Knicks — and he’s now giving back to the game as a player development coach with the Miami Heat. 🔥 You may also notice some familiar hometown faces in these throwback shots — including our very own high school math teacher, Mr. Adam Ebling! #BooneProud #TBT #WayneEllington #MiamiHeat

🎶🎉 On Friday, May 2, the 8th Grade Band & Chorus proudly represented DBAMS at the Music in the Parks Adjudication Festival in Hershey, PA! 🏅 The Band earned 3rd place with a rating of EXCELLENT, and the Chorus took 1st place, also with a rating of EXCELLENT! 👏 To top it off, DBAMS was honored with the prestigious Esprit de Corps Award, recognizing the school for demonstrating the highest level of positive attitude, support, teamwork, and outstanding behavior throughout the day. 🎢 After a fantastic morning of performances, students celebrated with an afternoon of fun at Hersheypark. Way to go, Blazers! We are so #BooneProud of your talent and character! 💙🎶
