National Honor Society

You excel. You serve. You lead. You succeed. You have a true thirst for challenge … and accomplishment. Membership in the National Honor Society (NHS) may be an ideal fit for you!

The selection process at Daniel Boone Area High School begins the summer after a student's tenth or eleventh grade year. A cumulative GPA of 93.0000 or higher is required. Students are then evaluated based on leadership, service, and character.

Students who feel that membership in the National Honor Society is a goal should begin personally documenting their service and leadership activities beginning in ninth grade. This will enable the student to provide an accurate representation of his or her contributions and qualifications and will make the submission process easier for the student.

Daniel Boone Area High School is proud to offer the following performing arts opportunities for our students:
