Partnerships

Our partners in education provide our students with additional opportunities outside of the four walls of Daniel Boone Area High School.

Associate Degree Pathway

The Associate Degree Pathway is a partnership between Reading Area Community College (RACC) and Daniel Boone Area School District. Beginning freshman year, students will be able to earn college credit towards a RACC Associate Degree of General Studies. The goal for these students is to be awarded a high school diploma from Daniel Boone and an Associate Degree from RACC upon completing high school. The Associate Degree Pathway packages an already growing number of dual enrollment credits available at Daniel Boone Area High School with RACC online courses.

Benefits of this pathway include:

  • Achievement – an associate degree sets students apart on college applications

  • Savings – college tuition, fees, room, board, and books

  • Time – earned credits will reduce the time you will spend earning a degree for professional-level employment

Please see the DBAHS Course Selection Guide to learn more about our Associate Degree Program. Please contact your child’s school counselor for more information.
