Through the Blazer Virtual Academy, the Daniel Boone Area School District offers numerous online courses to satisfy student needs and specific situations. Students may choose to take their courses online, in person, or any combination of the two.
The Blazer Virtual Academy is an online program using courses through Imagine Edgenuity and Accelerate Education. Our Virtual Academy provides a high quality, accredited online program for grades 9-12. The online courses are aligned with PA common core standards and provide a flexible alternative for students who need to catch up or get ahead. Applicable courses are NCAA qualified.
The Blazer Virtual Academy allows students in grades 9-12 to access their courses from home and in school. Because our courses are online, you will experience a flexibility that the traditional, structured classroom environment cannot offer. High school students engaging their learning virtually have the opportunity to schedule a study hall period in the Virtual Learning Lab located in the Daniel Boone Area High School for additional support.
The courses include web-based curriculum, highly qualified teachers, a 24/7 supportive environment, and a proprietary technology platform specifically designed for high school education (grades 9-12).

Virtual, Asynchronous Options
The Blazer Virtual Academy works just like a traditional school, except everything is online. Log in and access your courses from home, the public library, or anywhere you have Internet access. Live, state-certified instructors are available for on-demand student support 7 days a week!
