The Blazer Virtual Academy (BVA) is an educational learning environment designed to meet the needs of students who desire to pursue their education in a non-traditional setting. The BVA program offers benefits beyond that of other cyber charter schools. Students who successfully fulfill all credit requirements for graduation within the BVA program will earn a Daniel Boone Area School District diploma and the right to walk at graduation with their senior class. BVA students have access to the full range of courses and programs offered to in-person students in the DBASD, including Advanced Placement (AP) and Dual Enrollment courses, as well as programs of study at the Berks Career and Technical Center (BCTC).  In addition, BVA students are encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities including athletics, drama, music, etc. Finally, DBASD school counseling services, student assistance programs, and tutoring are available to BVA students. Our full-time and part-time enrollment models make it a great choice for flexibility and student experience.
