Mr. Shane Cross
PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHY
Shane Cross is a proud father and husband. He enjoys music, hiking, and spending time with family.
He has dedicated over 18 years to public education, serving as a teacher, technology integration specialist, and administrator.
Joining the Daniel Boone Area School District in September 2024 as the Director of Curriculum and Instruction, Mr. Cross brings with him over ten years of district-level leadership experience focused on advancing research-based, standards-aligned, curriculum and instruction.
TRANSITION PLAN
The Daniel Boone Area School District has a long tradition of excellence. To build upon those achievement, foster strong partnerships, and provide the leadership necessary to ensure high quality curriculum and instruction, it is important to make a smooth transition into the Director of Curriculum and Instruction position. In order to do so, my transition plan lays out a pathway for developing a deep understanding of the District and its larger community. The plan spans 90 days and establishes a structure for gathering and analyzing feedback, information, and data from a variety of sources and stakeholders.
